ah sheez, i updated fifteen weeks ago. im still bad at posting entries. there are times i walk around, thinking of livejournal, finding words and type in my head. unfortunately, i do not have enough of time to literally type and click update journal. however i still have thoughts i wanna share anyway and i hope you at least enjoy or appreciate what ran through my mind. :)
well, for a long time while my being in california i haven't had rainy days come, but to be in the raging temperature city (DC) sure it rained few days ago. i remember how precise i felt that morning when it rained. just when wet drops from the sky were visible, i couldn't wait to get in the rain. after tying my shoes, i walked out the door and i only felt speckles of splash in between every drop. the rain was countable. no cats and dogs were falling down, yet. for those who do not know, i plan on returning gallaudet as a student this fall. so i was walking to registration office, then i went timeless to expect rain bounce ruggedly onto the ground. it has been a long time since i stood behind a door, smile at my heart as it squeals, and react in giggles! i waited on the clouds, wondering if it would cry more or lessen its tears. for good five minutes, i waited. but waiting isnt me, hence i bounced out and dang i was wet within minutes!! i didnt grow up weary from the thought of drops falling down, rain is still and will always be a miracle to me.
now, this is about the another night when i was walking down the streets in dc by myself
i dont mean to be materialistic;
when i walk down the dc street
i take steps with fear skipping around in my body
but nonetheless the comfort came when i tuned in
bob marley drumming and sing in my ears
it feels like i understand them, dc people
i respect the town by playing its music
now im not counting steps,
